Care Instructions for Outback Slippers, Brumby Boots, Quokka Boots, Ossa Slippers/Boots & Thredbo BootsUpdated 2 hours ago
Our footwear is designed for comfort, warmth, and durability. Following these steps will help keep them in top condition for many seasons:
Washing
Machine wash on a cool cycle (below 40°C) using your preferred mild detergent.
For best results and to protect both your slippers/boots and your washing machine, place them in an old pillowcase before washing.
Remove the insoles before washing — clean these separately by hand with mild soap and cool water.
Drying
Air dry only — never tumble dry or place directly on heaters, near open flames, or in direct intense sunlight.
Dry both the slippers/boots and insoles naturally in a warm, dry, well-ventilated area.
Sole Care & Storage
The soles are made from rubber, which can become brittle if stored incorrectly.
Avoid long-term storage in very hot, cold, or damp environments (e.g., garages, sheds, or car boots).
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
If storing for summer, consider placing them in a breathable cotton bag or box to protect them from dust and temperature extremes.
Extra Tips
Avoid using bleach or harsh chemical cleaners.
